Here is a classic US trilobite. This is Huntonia oklahomae from the Lower Devonian of Oklahoma. This impressive specimen was found and prepared years ago by trilobite savant, the late, great Eugene Thomas. This type of Huntonia has a snout projection and a caudal spine - both are beautifully displayed on this specimen. This vintage trilobite is quite large (over 3 inches long!), prone, and very detailed. The distinct bug displays very well on the small, natural block of sculpted limestone. This is a very nice display example of a large, outstretched Huntonia from Oklahoma.
