This is a very nice spiny trilobite. It is a complete Kettneraspis williamsi from the Haragan Formation of Oklahoma. This specimen was found by Steve Hess in 1999 and prepared in the EXTINCTIONS Prep Lab. This outstretched trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits excellent detail. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached - even the ''fringes'' of the free cheeks are clearly defined. The long spines are beautifully displayed, and the protruding eyes are easily seen. The inflated bug has beautiful natural color and contrast and is well showcased on the sculpted block of marlstone. This is a very displayable specimen of Kettneraspis williamsi from Oklahoma.
