This is a very rare US trilobite. It is large Paedeumias yorkense from the Lower Cambrian of Pennsylvania. This specimen was found in York County, PA, not Lancaster, where most of the Kinzers Olenellids have been found. The distinct trilobite is very well preserved and even has the elusive LONG telson (tailspine) intact. The impressive bug is inflated and displays well on the large, squared plate of shale. This is a very fine example of a classic Paedeumias yorkense from York County, Pennsylvania.
