Here is a beautiful, complete, outstretched Flexicalymene retrorsa from the Ordovician of Ohio. This prone trilobite is quite inflated and 3-D. The bug has very nice articulation with both free cheeks intact. This trilobite exhibits very fine detail and has wonderful, thick exoskeleton of a brownish color that contrasts strikingly with the light blue-grey matrix. The trilobite is beautifully showcased on the squared plate of shale. This is a top quality display specimen of Flexicalymene retrorsa from Ohio.
