This is a very displayable spiny trilobite. It is a huge Long-Horned Kettneraspis from Morocco. This specimen was meticulously prepared under a microscope in the EXTINCTIONS Prep Lab. The bug has great natural color and very fine detail preserved. The long pleural spines are intact, as are the fine fringes on the free cheeks. The stalked eyes and long occipital ''horn'' were all prepared free-standing. And the way the bug lays on the large, sculpted limestone block is quite aesthetic. This is a very large display example of this ''showy'' Odontopleurid trilobite - extremely hard-to-find in this quality and presentation.
