Here is an excellent prone specimen of Paciphacops campbelli from the Lower Devonian of Oklahoma. This trilobite is differentiated from Kainops by the fewer number of lenses in the eyes. This specimen is outstretched and very well preserved. The bug is quite 3-dimensional and exhibits very fine detail. The thick-shelled, caramel-colored trilobite contrasts wonderfully with the light-colored matrix. This is a very displayable example of this small-eyed Phacopid trilobite from the Haragan Formation.
