This is a very nice spiny trilobite. It is a large Kettneraspis williamsi from the Haragan Formation of Oklahoma. This specimen was found by Steve Hess in 1999. This outstretched trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits excellent detail. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The long spines are beautifully displayed. The protruding eyes are easily seen, and the ''fringes'' of the free cheeks are clearly defined. The inflated bug has great color and contrast and is well showcased on the sculpted plate of marlstone. This is a very nice, large specimen of Kettneraspis williamsi from Oklahoma.
