This is a finee spiny trilobite. It is a large Kettneraspis williamsi from the Haragan Formation of Oklahoma. This specimen was found by the late Eugene Thomas in 1997. This outstretched trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits excellent detail. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The long spines are beautifully displayed, the protruding eyes are easily seen, and the ''fringes'' of the free cheeks are clearly defined. The inflated bug has great color and contrast and is well showcased on the sculpted plate of marlstone. This is a nice, large specimen of Kettneraspis williamsi from Oklahoma.
