Here is an excellent association fossil. It is a Flexicalymene retrorsa and Cyclonema bilix plate from the Ordovician of Ohio. This classic trilobite is curled, has very nice articulation, and exhibits extremely fine detail. The gastropod also displays fine detail and distinct "snail shape". The fossils preserve a beautiful, natural brownish color that contrasts very well with the greyish matrix. This is a very aesthetic specimen of a trilobite and a gastropod displayed together.
