This is an excellent association fossil from the Middle Devonian of New York. This specimen was found years ago at the famous Penn-Dixie Quarry. There is a nice, complete example of Eldredgeops rana and a very detailed Stereolasma rectum horn coral preserved on the plate. The specimens contrast strikingly with the light grey matrix. The fossils are wonderfully showcased on the squared plate of shale. This is a very displayable plate of different fossils from Devonian sea floor of New York.
