This is one of only a handful of trilobite species that can grow to the size of your hand, and this one doesn't disappoint. This specimen is very well articulated - the trilobite is complete and not a composite! The bug is very inflated and 3-dimensional, which just adds to its impressiveness and size. The fully outstretched trilobite is well centered and beautifully showcased on the sculpted plate of matrix - perfect for display. This fossil has it all - large size, great detail, and excellent display quality. And this trilobite is from Pennsylvania - almost all Dipleuras this size were found in New York! This is a very impressive centerpiece specimen that would surely enhance any fossil collection.
