Here is a top quality example of Calymene niagarensis from the Rochester Shale of New York. This specimen was acquired from the famous Eugene Thomas Collection. The ancient arthropod is wonderfully prone and beautifully articulated. The bug is very 3-dimensional and exhibits extremely fine detail. The trilobite has great natural color and contrast and is well showcased on the large matrix plate that also displays a large crinoid calyx. This is a very cool association plate found by the "Trilobite Whisperer", Eugene Thomas.
