Here is an incredible grouping of trilobites from the Cambrian of China. This is an extremely rare multiple trilobite plate that has THREE DIFFERENT SPECIES represented - Arthricocephalus pulchellus, Changaspis elongata, and an unidentified type. This amazing plate has DOZENS of trilobites represented (we stopped counting at 27!), including some growth stage meraspis and holaspis examples. These tiny bugs (less than 1/4 of an inch long - look closely!) are wonderfully articulated and exhibit very fine detail (better than the photo shows). And there are at least TEN examples on the back side of the plate! This is a textbook mass mortality slab with three different uncommon Cambrian trilobites preserved.
