This is a very detailed example of a rare US trilobite. This is a very cool Olenellus thompsoni from the Lower Cambrian of Pennsylvania. This holaspid specimen (juvenile) came from an old collection - it was found over 20 years ago at the now-closed Fruitville Quarry site. The trilobite is complete, with spines and tailspine present, which is extremely unusual. This specimen has excellent detail preserved and is a SPLIT PAIR - both the part and counterpart are present and offered here together. This is a very collectible positive/negative example of a very complete holaspid Olenellus from Pennsylvania.
