Here is a very unusual fossil. This is a pair of trilobites from the Devonian of Oklahoma. The enrolled trilobite is Kainops raymondi, the prone one is Paciphacops campbelli. These 3-dimensional trilobites exhibit very fine detail - the individual facets of the eyes and the pustulose glabellas are quite evident. The dark bugs contrast wonderfully with the buff-colored matrix and are well showcased on the large, sculpted plate of limestone. This is a beautiful display block of TWO DIFFERENT Devonian trilobites from Oklahoma.
