This is a wonderful specimen of Basidechenella rowi that came from a major trilobite collection. This specimen was collected well over ten years ago, before the site was closed to collecting. The bug is almost perfectly enrolled and very well articulated. It has been extracted from the surrounding rock so that it is completely free of matrix. It is very nicely inflated - no crushing at all. It has been prepared so that the genal spines are free-standing. It exhibits excellent detail. This is a very clean, well-prepared specimen of Basidechenella from a site that has been closed to collecting for many years.
