This is a cool Lower Cambrian trilobite fossil. This is a baby Wanneria sp. and Olenellus plate from the Eager Formation of Canada. This striking trilobite is a counterpart (impression) and is wonderfully articulated and exhibits great concave relief. The bug has great detail preserved - the genal spines are even easily seen. There is also a very large Olenellus cephalon and other parts beautifully displayed on the large, squared plate of shale. This is a very nice study example of these two classic Lower Cambrian trilobites from Canada.
