Here is a very nice, complete Cordania falcata from the Devonian of Oklahoma. This specimen was acquired from the famous Eugene Thomas Collection. The trilobite is extremely inflated and exhibits very fine detail. Under magnification, the extremely small granules can be seen on the cephalon of the trilobite. Both free cheeks are intact, and the individual segments and pygidium are present and easily seen. The striking butterscotch-colored bug contrasts beautifully with the lighter-colored matrix. The fossil is well showcased on the large, sculpted block of marlstone. This is a collectible specimen of a complete Cordania falcata from the Thomas Collection.
