Here is an unusual twist to a classic spiny trilobite. It is a ventral Kettneraspis williamsi from Oklahoma. This specimen was acquired from the Eugene Thomas Collection. This trilobite is complete, only it is preserved upside-down! The fringes of the free cheeks are present, and the long spines are easily seen. The trilobite is beautifully showcased in the center of a squared plate. This is a very cool specimen of a ventral Kettneraspis williamsi from Oklahoma.
