Here is a rare Canadian trilobite. This is Wanneria sp. from the Lower Cambrian of British Columbia. This juvenile trilobite is quite inflated and dsiplays wonderful detail. The trilobite has nice color and contrast and is well showcased on the large plate of hard shale. And this is a split pair fossil - the counterpart is also included (see close-up photo). This is a very cool pos/neg juvenile specimen of a classic Lower Cambrian trilobite.
