This is a classic US trilobite from a rare locality. It is a nice part/counterpart Olenellus thompsoni from the Lower Cambrian of Pennsylvania. This specimen was found at the "Montessori School Site", where very few Kinzers trilobites have been found. The site was opened years ago when the foundation of the school was dug - the school was quickly built, and there is none of that rock remaining. The trilobite is well preserved and has beautiful, natural color displayed. The counterpart side also has a small, partial Camptostroma preserved on it. This is a cool split pair example of an Olenellus thompsoni from one of the rarest Kinzers Formation localities.
