This is a cool trilobite fossil. It is a distinct Homotelus bromidensis hypostoma from the Bromide Formation of Carter County, Oklahoma. This specimen was found by Steve Hess in 1998. This hypostoma (mouthplate) is very detailed and contrasts beautifully with the buff colored matrix. This is a wonderful study specimen of a hypostoma from the classic trilobite, Homotelus bromidensis.
