Here is a fine specimen of Morocconites malladoides from the Devonian of Morocco. The specimen is very prone and beautifully articulated. This specimen has an extremely long spine extending off the front of the cephalon. It curves until the tip is pointing straight up into the air. It extends far above the height of the cephalon. The specimen has a great multi-colored exoskeleton. Many of the eye facets are displayed. The trilobite is well positioned on the natural plate of limestone. This is a very nice specimen of Moroccanites with a much longer than usual "nose" spine.
