This is a very rare US trilobite. It is a large Paratrinucleus acervulosus from Blacksburg, Virginia. This specimen was found over 20 years ago and recently acquired in an old collection. This trilobite is outstretched and very well articulated. The bug has very fine detail and displays beautifully on the natural, two-toned matrix plate. The divider line of the two contrasting shades runs right through part of the trilobite - cool! This is a very collectible trilobite from Virginia found many years ago.
