This is a very fine example of a classic US trilobite. It is a beautiful part/counterpart Olenellus thompsoni from the Lower Cambrian of Pennsylvania. This specimen was found in York County, PA, not Lancaster, where most of the Kinzers Olenellids were found. The trilobite is extremely well preserved and beautifully displayed. The part side has some restoration work done, but the counterpart side is just exquisite. This is a striking split pair example of an Olenellus thompsoni from York County, Pennsylvania.
