Here is a complete Cordania falcata from the Devonian of Oklahoma. This specimen was found by Eugene Thomas in 2004 and just now prepared. The trilobite is inflated and exhibits fine detail. The eyes are well displayed, and both free cheeks are intact, which is unusual. Under magnification, the extremely small granules can be seen on the cephalon and brim of the pygidium of the trilobite. The beautiful caramel-colored bug contrasts nicely with the lighter-colored matrix. The fossil is well displayed on a large block of marlstone, with a brachiopod preserved near the tail. This is a very nice, complete specimen of Cordania falcata from Oklahoma.
