This is a very rare US trilobite. It is Paedeumias yorkensis from the Lower Cambrian of Pennsylvania. This specimen was found in York County, PA, not Lancaster, where most of the Kinzers Olenellids were found. The trilobite is a true molt, not a partial, with the head detached and laying to the left of the body. The elusive tailspine is even intact, with is quite unusual. There are also three other trilobite heads preserved on the plate. This is a fine example of a molted exoskeleton of a TRUE Paedeumias yorkensis from York County, Pennsylvania.
