This is a rare trilobite find. It is a nice Cryptolithus bellulus DOUBLE from the classic site at Swatara Gap, Pennsylvania. This specimen was collected by Steve Hess in 1989 - the site is now closed for good. The main trilobite is easily seen on the rock on the left. If you look closely, there is a counterpart of another complete Crypto to the bottom left of the main bug. On the rock on the right (which is the counterpart to the left rock), the second trilobite is easily seen at the edge of the rock. Both trilobites have excellent detail and beautiful natural color preserved. There are also many other fossils embedded in the rocks. This is a very uncommon double example of this classic US trilobite from this closed site.
