Here is a very interesting multiple trilobite plate from the Ordovician of Morocco. The large trilobite on the left is a specimen of Eudolitites. This specimen is complete and well articulated. This trilobite displays a very unusual "pitting" or rugose surface on the cephalon, especially in the area of the free cheeks. The trilobite on the right is a nice example of Chattiaspis. This trilobite is also complete and well articulated. This specimen is somewhat inflated. The specimen nicely displays the long genal spines. The caudal spine is also quite evident. The trilobites are well positioned on a large slab of matrix that is approximately 7.0" X 10.0". There has been no compositing or placement of specimens on this plate. This is an interesting association plate of two different trilobites from the Ordovician of Morocco.
