You may have seen a double Dalmanites before, but probably not as good as this one! This is a super pair of Dalmanites limulurus from New York. This beautiful specimen was prepared in the EXTINCTIONS Preparation Lab (can you tell?) This amazing plate is fully natural - the bugs display on the rock exactly where they died millions of years ago. They are facing the same direction on the plate (NE), which makes for an aesthetic display. Both trilobites are beautiful and have great compound eyes preserved - the individual facets are easily seen. This is an extremely collectible pair of Dalmanites limulurus preserved together forever.
