This is an excellent pair of Devonian trilobites. They are both Reedops deckeri from Oklahoma. These distinct specimens were aquired from the Eugene Thomas Collection. The larger specimen is extremely inflated and very well-articulated, with the smaller, enrolled specimen nestled in the curve of its body. The ancient arthropods are very well prepared - the detail is super and the compound eye facets are present. This is a very nice curled Reedops from Oklahoma, with a fully enrolled buddy.
