This is a nice example of a classic trilobite. This is a large, complete Elrathia kingi from Utah. This type is usually found under one inch in size - this one is much larger than that. The distinct trilobite is well displayed and has fine detail preserved. The fossil is well presented on the large, squared plate of shale that also has two trilobite counterparts preserved. This is a good complete example of Elrathia from Utah.
