This is a nice Upper Cambrian trilobite. It is a very distinct Labiostria westropi from British Columbia, Canada. This type of trilobite has long pleural spines and a small fan-tail. These features are well displayed on this specimen. This outstretched trilobite is complete and wonderfully articulated. Both free cheeks are intact on this specimen. The bug has good color and contrast and is well showcased on the small plate of concretionary matrix. This is a very nice example of this unusual Upper Cambrian trilobite.
