This is a complete specimen of Isotelus mafritzi from the Ordovician of Canada. This trilobite is outstretched and quite inflated. The bug exhibits fine detail - the distinct features of this trilobite are easily seen. The dark color of the trilobite contrasts wonderfully with the grey matrix. The fossil is well showcased on the semi-squared block of limestone that also contains crinoid stems and other fossils. This is a very affordable Isotelus from the Ordovician of Ontario.
