This is a very nice example of a Devonian Sea Floor. This rare plate is from the Haragan Formation of Oklahoma. This specimen was found and prepared by the late Eugene Thomas. There is a disarticulated Dicranurus, an enrolled Kainops, two brachiopods, and a coral preserved on the slab. The long spines of the "Dike" are beautifully displayed. The Paciphacops has the exposed compound eye clearly defined. The extremely detailed fossils have great color and contrast and are well showcased on the sculpted plate of marlstone. This is a very cool peek into a Devonian sea floor bottom.
