This is a distinct spiny trilobite. It is a complete Kettneraspis williamsi from Oklahoma. This specimen was found by Steve Hess in 1996 and just now prepared. This trilobite has both free cheeks and tail intact, which is somewhat unusual. The large eyes and occipital spine are present, which is also quite rare. The fringes of the free cheeks are also easily seen. The bug is well displayed on the large block of limestone. This is a very cool specimen of a complete Kettneraspis williamsi from Oklahoma.
