Here is a distinct Lower Cambrian trilobite. This is a decent specimen of Olenellus gilberti from Nevada. This trilobite exhibits fine detail. The cephalon and crescent-shaped eyes are easily seen, clearly defined, and beautifully displayed. The bug is well showcased in the center of a squared plate of shale. This is a nice Olenellid trilobite from the Lower Cambrian of the Western United States.
