Here is a very aesthetic specimen of Zlichovaspis rugosa from the Devonian of Morocco. This distinct trilobite is complete and wonderfully articulated. The bug is preserved in a 3-dimensional manner and exhibits great detail. The large, crescent-shaped eyes are easily seen - many of the individual lenses are clearly defined. The front lip, genal spine, and caudal spine have been prepared in a free-standing manner. The fossil has excellent, natural coloration that contrasts beautifully with the light-colored matrix. The trilobite is well showcased on the large, sculpted block of limestone. This is a very fine example of Zlichovaspis rugosa from Morocco.
