This is a fabulous plate of Middle Devonian trilobites from New York. This specimen was found many years ago at the famous Penn-Dixie Quarry, and has been in a major collection ever since. There are FIVE essentially complete examples of Eldredgeops on the plate. All of the trilobites are prone, which is extremely unusual - usually, there would be some enrolled bugs on a plate like this. The individual facets of the eyes and the pustulose glabellas are extremely well preserved. The fossils are beautifully showcased on the large matrix plate. This is a very collectible prone multiple specimen of Eldredgeops from New York.
