This is a beautiful specimen of Asaphus (Neoasaphus) punctatus from the Middle Ordovician of Russia. The trilobite is very 3-dimensional and is well articulated. This specimen has a very rich, caramel-brown color. It is a shade darker than most of the specimens from this area. The trilobite is nicely outstretched and is well presented on a natural block of limestone. This is a wonderful specimen of this species of Asaphus.
