This is a very interesting trilobite from the Devonian of Oklahoma. The trilobite is a very detailed example of Reedops deckeri. This type of trilobite has large pustules on the exoskeleton and many lenses in the eyes. The inflated bug is well preserved in a curled, enrolled position. The fossil has excellent color and contrast and is nicely showcased on the sculpted block of matrix. This is a fine specimen of a curled Reedops from the Haragan Formation.
