This is a very interesting trilobite from the Devonian of Oklahoma. The trilobite is a very detailed example of Kainops raymondi. This type of trilobite is differentiated from Paciphacops by the larger number of lenses in the eyes. The inflated bug is well preserved in a curled, enrolled position. The fossil has excellent color and contrast and is nicely presented on the sculpted block of matrix. This is a fine specimen of a curled Kainops from the Haragan Formation.
