This is an extremely rare trilobite fossil. It is a complete Dicranurus hamatus elegantus from the Eugene Thomas Collection. This type is one of the most sought-after trilobites from Oklahoma. The bug is very well articulated and was prepared with the ''Ram's Horns'' free-standing for optimal display. The body spines are also long and very easily seen. Dicranurus is one of the hardest Oklahoma trilobites to find complete - usually the free cheeks and tail are totally missing. This is an impressive specimen of probably the most famous trilobite from Oklahoma.
