This is an excellent example of two very rare trilobites. This is a very cool plate of a Paedeumias transitans(large) and Olenellus thompsoni from the Lower Cambrian of Pennsylvania. This double specimen came from an old collection - it was found over 20 years ago at the now-closed Fruitville Quarry site. The trilobites are complete, with the Olenellus having its LONG tailspine intact.. Both trilobites have great detail preserved and fabulous natural color - classic Kinzers oranges and browns! And the counterpart is present - a fine split pair fossil (see photo). This is a very collectible example of a complete Paedeumias transitans and Olenellus thompsoni on the same plate!
