This is an unusual Ordovician trilobite. It is an unidentified Dalmanitid trilobite from Morocco. This specimen is unusual in that it is similar to a Pterygometopus, but has a long, pointed nose and TWO small spikes on the tail! The bug is nicely outstretched and the eyes display prominently. The counterpart of this specimen is nicely intact, and is included. This is a very detailed example of this uncommon Moroccan trilobite.
