This is a wonderful spiny trilobite. It is a very nice Kettneraspis williamsi from the Haragan Formation of Oklahoma. This specimen is from the Eugene Thomas Collection. This outstretched trilobite is well articulated and exhibits excellent detail. Both free cheeks are present (the left cheek is not in view from this angle). The long genal spines and the thin pleural spines are beautifully displayed. The protruding eyes are easily seen, and the ''fringes'' of the free cheeks are clearly defined. The inflated bug has great color and contrast and is beautifully showcased on the squared block of marlstone that also contains both valves of a brachiopod. This is a very fine NATURAL association of Kettneraspis and a brachiopod from the Haragan Formation of Oklahoma.
