This is a cool Cambrian trilobite. It is split pair Hamatolenus (Hamatolenus) sp. from the Cambrian of Morocco. This is an uncommon type of Cambrian trilobite. This trilobite exhibits very fine detail - the furrowed glabella is easily seen, and the individual thoracic segments are clearly defined. The free cheeks are present, which is extremely unusual for this type. But the collectible feature of this bug is that it is a split pair - the counterpart is also present and displays well. This is a wonderful example of a split pair Hamatolenus trilobite.
