This is an excellent specimen of Crotalocephalus gibbus from the Devonian of Morocco. The trilobite is nicely articulated and exhibits superb detail. The trilobite has been prepared with the pygidial spines in a free-standing position. The specimen has a very slight "hump" in the middle so that it looks as if it is in motion. The fossil has great, natural, brownish-black color and contrasts well with the matrix. The trilobite is presented on a rounded slab of limestone. This is a very aesthetic specimen of Crotalocephalus.
