This is an extremely nice example of an unidentified asaphid trilobite from the Ordovician of Morocco. This specimen is from the same layers as the long-spined Ampyx trilobite. The bug has very good detail preserved - some of the original "shell" material of the exoskeleton is intact. The broad trilobite has great color and contrast and is well showcased on the large block of matrix. This is a very nice specimen of this type of asaphid trilobite from Morocco.
