This is an unusual Bundenbach trilobite. It is an Asteropyge from Germany. This specimen is a ventral view, and is fully outstretched. The detail is nice (sorry, the photo is dark). The bug is nicely centered on a 5" X 7.4" piece of roofing slate. This is a hard-to-find type of trilobite from Bundenbach.
